School of Rock 2: America Rocks is an American film directed by Richard Linklater in 2010. The film will follow the successful 2003 film School of Rock with Jack Black, also directed by Linklater.
On July 16, 2008 it was confirmed that Mike Withe had finished writing the screenplay for a possible sequel to School of Rock, and Jack Black had agreed to play the role of Dewey Finn for the second time, but was not confirmed the presence of the children of the first film.
According to the plot of this second film would be a trip around America in which Dewey Finn tells the story of rock in a school.
